Freshwater CC Year 2,3,4, Thursdays, 7:05am for Term 1, week 3-8
Loughton 40 Hoops 6 week basketball program for Year 2, 3, 4 on Thursday mornings 7:05-7:55am starting week 3 term 1 (Feb 8th) and finishing in week 8 of term 1. Participants will be introduced to the exciting game of basketball with entry level skills including dribbling, shooting, understanding rules and positions on the court, building up to being able to play full court games!
Please note Alex and the assistant coaches will run both yr 2,3,4 and the yr 5,6 programs at the same time. There will be times when both groups work together but mostly separate skills, drills and games.
The program costs $120 and covers all sessions and includes a basketball, drink bottle, drawstring bag and official T-shirt. (Ball is given out on the last session of the program)

Loughton 40 Hoops is a great introduction to the exciting game of basketball. The program is fun, inclusive, and develops confidence in your child/ren in a team environment as we break down the game and teach the fundamentals and then put them into practise with competitive mini challenges. The program is designed to equip your child/ren with the necessary tools to start playing official games with the end goal of them forming a lifelong connection to the sport and hopefully joining a team and club.
